Senior Food Box Program
Helping Our Neighbors Stay Nourished
Everyone deserves access to nutritious food. The PARS Senior Food Box Program helps eligible adults age 60 and older stretch their grocery budgets with a monthly box of food.
Through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), participants receive approximately 30 pounds of food to supplement the groceries they already purchase. Contents vary and may include canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, pasta, rice, shelf-stable milk, and other staples.
Who Qualifies?
The program serves adults who:
- Are 60 years of age or older
- Meet the program’s household income guidelines

Pickup and Delivery
Food boxes are distributed monthly through PARS. Delivery within Pierre city limits may be available for participants who do not have transportation. Please contact our office to discuss availability and arrangements.
